The CAD Compass takes full advantage of the Internet's ability to create a central global meeting place for all individuals, companies and organizations with progressive attitudes in the implementation of CAD.
Compass Advisors are recognized leaders in the field of CAD standards who have graciously volunteered their time to review the content of The CAD Compass and to offer advice regarding the development of the features of the site. We are thankful to have the support of such an esteemed panel. For more information about the Compass Advisors please read their biographies
Anyone may submit an article to be reviewed for inclusion in The CAD Compass. Articles will be evaluated for relevance to issues regarding CAD Standards and the development of a CAD based "Virtual Building" model for organizing all information about a facility.
Articles will remain the intellectual property of the author and so may be published in any form by the author in other journals or anthologies.
Compass Authors derive two main benefits from participating in The CAD Compass. First, they get direct feedback on their ideas from a world-wide community of CAD experts in the discussions that take place in the forums. Second, they will be given a page containing their biography in which they can promote their company or organization and its products or services.
Every registered member will be given a Member's Profile page which will be identified by their login username or "handle." The profile page will contain by default the users handle and their topics of interest. When members register they will be given the option to include additional information about themselves and their company, including their name and contact information.
